Peet's Coffee discounts: the subscription is the discount
Most Peet's “codes” you will find listed are junk. The real savings are structural: 30% off a first subscription, then 5–10% automatically, and free shipping with no minimum.

- The 40% and 50% codes listed across coupon sites do not come from Peet's. Treat them as noise.
Why the codes you find are mostly junk
Search for a Peet's promo code and you will get CAPS40, 15OFF, COFFEEFIRST, claims of 40% and 50% off. Almost none of these originate from Peet's. They are scraped, guessed, or long dead, and several sites list them with no expiry at all.
Peet's does not really run codes. It runs a subscription discount structure, and that structure is where the savings live.
The 30% first-order discount
New subscribers get 30% off their first subscription shipment. The important limits:
It applies to the order subtotal at checkout, one use per customer, and only to subscriptions — not one-time purchases. It is not combinable with other offers.
So this is a once-only saving. Worth timing it for a larger first order rather than a single bag.
What happens after the first order
This is the part almost nobody explains. Once you are a subscriber, Peet's applies a discount to every recurring order automatically, with no code:
5% off subscription orders of $30–$49.99
10% off subscription orders of $50 or more
That is a permanent, if modest, reduction. And because the tier is based on order value, consolidating into fewer, larger shipments earns the higher rate.
Shipping is the bigger saving
Every subscription order ships free, with no minimum. A one-time order needs a $49 subtotal to qualify.
On a two-bag order of around $30, free shipping is worth more than the 5% tier discount. That is the real argument for subscribing rather than reordering manually.
One exclusion worth knowing: shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and PO boxes fall outside the $49 free-shipping threshold.
Peetnik Rewards, and the email discount
Peetnik Rewards is free to join. You earn a point per dollar spent and can redeem from 25 points upward — free drinks, food, and coffee beans. Members also get a free birthday drink and 25 bonus points on their sign-up anniversary. Join through the Peet's app and complete a first purchase, either by scanning in store or ordering ahead.
Separately, the email newsletter gives 10% off plus free shipping on a first order. If you are not going to subscribe, this is the better route for a one-off.
The referral, and how to actually stack
Refer a friend and they get $10 off their first order; you get a free bag of coffee and free shipping. Sources disagree on the exact reward value, so treat the specifics as approximate.
What genuinely combines: the automatic Subscribe & Save tier and free subscription shipping work together on every order. What does not: the 30% first-order discount is not combinable with anything else, so use it alone.
